The Simple Joy of Being is a blog ran by my friend, Chloe Mcalpin. I met Chloe when I started college. She was in the same honors program (only consisting of ten people), so we became instant friends! She started this blog when we were freshmen, and I have loved watching it grow and keeping up with all of her beauty and lifestyle tips. Chloe shares everything on her blog from her faith to her favorite mascara, which I adore. I am so glad that college brought us together, and I can’t wait to see where Chloe’s future takes her. She is very determined, and I know she will go far in life!
We started our session at one of Huntsville’s newest additions, The Camp. Its coffee shop, Alchemy, had the cutest lounge to act as our first backdrop. While talking to Chloe, I mentioned how I had been dying to photograph someone in front of the “cherry blossom-looking trees” (I’m not sure if that’s really what the trees are). We mutually agreed it would be fun to make an impromptu trip to downtown and search for the perfect tree. We found some AWESOME spots! Not only did we find some beautiful trees that were still blooming, but we found a lovely fence line and gate. We may or may not have stood in someone’s front yard, but hopefully they didn’t mind.
