Saturday was an exciting day for me! I got to see another one of my cheer friends from high school. Saying “from high school” makes me feel old, even though it’s only been two years (oops). I cheered with Nikki my junior and senior year. We went through all of the cheer drama and high school fun together. I showed up to her downtown session looking like a hot mess, but we both agreed we had already seen each other’s absolute worse from cheer. If you’ve been through a UCA Summer Cheer Camp, you can probably relate.

If you have read some of my previous blogs, Nikki’s face might look a little familiar to you. I just photographed her sister Taylor’s engagement session, and you can see that here. Taylor and Nikki might as well be twins, even though there are a few years between them. I see their sweet momma in both of their smiles.

It’s such an honor that the Kimbrough family trusts me to capture some of their big milestones. It’s crazy to think it all started with Taylor’s college graduation pictures over two years ago (one of my first paid sessions)! So, thank you Nikki for contacting me about your senior pictures. It was so nice to see you and catch up!
