The forecast showed for thunderstorms with a 90% chance of rain ALL day. Thankfully, Brandi and Brandon are one of the most laid-back couples I have ever worked with. The bridal party’s phrase for the day was “It’s fine,” and luckily it was fine! Despite the chance for storms and rain, every image from their Meadow Creek Farm wedding was absolutely beautiful. I am still thanking God for letting the rain hold off until AFTER the ceremony and all of the outdoor pictures!
Our original timeline called for no first-look. As I was looking at the radar, I could see that the rain would directly follow the ceremony. Brandi had explained to me that she was completely up to changing to a first-look if it meant she would get the portraits done before the rain. The only thing holding us back was convincing Brandon into it. Thankfully, he agreed! After the sweetest note exchange and first-look, I was able to capture all of the portraits Brandi had envisioned for her big day before the ceremony and RAIN.
As soon as the first dance was over, the rain set in. We may or may not have gotten a couple of portraits in the rain with the cutest bubble umbrella (scroll to see)! After that, Brandi and Brandon ended their day dancing with all of their closest family and friends. The bubble send-off was the best! So, thank y’all for letting me be a small part in y’all’s big day. Enjoy your blog!
