I am finally getting around to sharing Jessica and Kevin’s Downtown Huntsville engagement session at Veterans Memorial Fountain! The session was last Saturday, and their gallery was delivered a couple of days after, but since it was the Fourth of July their blog is just now being posted. What better Independence Day blog post to share than one with a bright red dress and military uniform?!

Since I started this business, I have been photographing people in my small town. Slowly but surely, I have been gaining clients that I don’t already know personally… which can be exciting and nerve-wracking. Gladly, Jessica and Kevin were some of the nicest people I have ever met and were so easy going. I forgot to mention they aren’t even local to Huntsville… they are from Minnesota and Montana. How cool is that?!

I learned a lot about Jessica and Kevin within just the couple of hours I spent with them. They are completely infatuated with each other. It’s the cutest thing. They would go into a pose that I was about to set them up in before I even spoke. Most of the pictures you will see below… are posed by them and them only. When Jessica inquired with me a couple of months back, she expressed how her favorite thing about me was my ability to capture the emotion of the moment. They made this job so EASY! I love it when my couples genuinely enjoy their engagement session and just spending that time together.

I’m so excited I get to capture the love these two share in September. I know them saying their vows in front of their families at their garden wedding will be nothing short of beautiful and sentimental. So thank you Jessica and Kevin for being so awesome. I can’t contain my excitement for your wedding at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens!
