It was a HOT day, but I finally got to photograph Morgan and Conner’s Creekside Plantation engagement session! Just a couple of months ago, I took their surprise proposal pictures… which you can look at here. Now we are finally to the big wedding planning stuff! Most of you know, Morgan is my cousin but might as well be my sister. I’ve had so much fun helping plan out the proposal and engagement pictures… so I’m definitely excited to be back at Creekside for their wedding in May of next year.
There is just one little kicker to this wedding day… I get to be the photographer and the MAID OF HONOR! It’ll be a busy day, but I know it will be fun. Lexi Kelly from Pike Springs Photography will also be there to assist me for the photos I can’t get. I’ve never been a maid of honor before or shot a wedding that I’m in… but I’m honestly just excited to see how I handle this fun challenge.
Did I mention it was a super hot day? Morgan and Conner were champs (especially since Conner hates pictures lol). They did all of the poses I asked… even forehead to forehead. All of my couples know that this pose in the summer heat can be kinda terrible. Thankfully, they all trust me anyways. We were also able to capture Morgan’s engagement ring in it’s original state before it is altered. It is Conner’s Nana’s beautiful ring, and they are going to use the band to make his ring. The diamond will go on a thinner band for Morgan.
I know all of the details of their day will be gorgeous, and it will be a big party. So, to again say I’m excited would be an understatement. I’ll just leave y’all with all of these pretty engagement pictures until the wedding!
