I knew Emily and Tom’s Burritt on the Mountain wedding was gonna be a dream when she went with every vendor I recommended. If you’re a bride, just know that vendors can really help create a stress-free day, and this team really showed out for our sweet couple! The pops of light blue with the pale pinks, whites, golds, and greenery are some of my favorite color combos. If you look closely, you’ll see the sweetest favors with honey from Burritt and the prettiest hand sanitizers (Covid safety but make it cute).

Emily and Tom’s family and friends gathered in Huntsville from literally ALL over (stretching from New York to Florida)! We only had around fifty or so guests, but the party never died down (Metropolitan DJ knows how to keep a party going). My favorite part of the night was being outside getting an exterior shot of the building during the reception… and hearing Emily YELL “Sweet Home Alabama” at the top of her lungs. It was a completely different Emily than the reserved and sweet-spoken girl I met at their engagement session… and I loved it!

This day was one for the books!

“Madison is hands down the best photographer in the wedding game! When I began wedding planning, I was new to the Huntsville, Alabama, area. We knew we wanted to get married in Huntsville because we instantly fell in love with the town. I found my venue, and one day while scrolling on Instagram, I noticed Birdy Grey repost a wedding picture from my exact venue. My fiancé and I were both very nervous about being photographed because we feel like we are sometimes awkward, but with Madison, that did not happen. We were so comfortable, and everyone still says, “Wow, your smiles are just so genuine in your pictures; you can tell you’re really happy.” We both said multiple times during our engagement photos, and at our wedding, that we felt like we were hanging out with one of our friends. Which I think is super important because you spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day, and it was honestly so fun with her! She is professional, fun, outgoing, and gets the job done all at the same time. Madison took so much time to ensure I got all the shots I wanted at our wedding and even joined in on our fun dancing with my bridesmaids and me for a little. We paid extra to have Madison stay until our final exit, and she got some fantastic shots of us. If you have a grand exit planned, I recommend doing the same! Our wedding was on a Saturday, and by Monday night, we received about 20 or more sneak peeks. So within less than two days, she was already hard at work editing the shots she took. The wedding planning is over, and we have already begun talking about how we want to hire Madison to shoot our family photos in the future. I highly suggest booking with her; you will not regret it!
