I traveled down a day early for Brittany and Thomas’s Iron City Birmingham wedding to avoid SNOW in MARCH! Alabama weather is so indecisive, but I can relate. Shoutout to my second shooter, Jennifer, for rolling with it and having a little girls night out with me at the Logan’s Roadhouse and Target near our hotel!
We started with Brittany at a beautiful Airbnb just a couple of seconds from the ceremony location, Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church. I did some detail and getting-ready shots and then we headed to our first look with Thomas AND their sweet pup Rosie. I stinking love her fluffy and sweet self. After a beautiful ceremony, we braved the cold and wind for portraits near Morris Avenue and the famous, picture-worthy bridge.
Brittany and Thomas were complete troopers in the freezing but sunshiny weather, and we ended the day celebrating at Iron City. I was completely mesmerized by Tim Tyler’s piano and harmonica playing with his cover of “Piano Man.” Seriously, I just stood and watched the entire song. So, thank you to the Schneiders for letting me capture your day. It was an absolute honor!
“Madison is a dream to work with! Our engagement & wedding photos turned out better than I could have ever imagined! One of the best decisions we made was to hire her as our photographer. She is also SO fast on getting your pictures back to you which is so important when you’re so excited to see them!”
