A couple of weeks ago, Maggie contacted me about having some bridals done before her wedding in Charleston. After touring this new Huntsville venue, The Venue at Oak Place, I knew it was the PERFECT spot for this bridal session. While chatting on the phone with Maggie to plan details, she let me know her wedding was actually going to be the following weekend! I am super impressed with her planning skills! You have to be superwoman to plan a wedding in another state with only a two month engagement!

For this session, we were not only shooting her bridals at The Venue at Oak Place but also working with some other pretty amazing wedding vendor friends in the Huntsville area, too! Maggie’s dress and veil are from the lovely Something Blue Shoppe in Hartselle. This is also where I got my wedding gown back in 2022! Her gown was my favorite style you can get for a winter wedding. The lace sleeves and tight collar paired with an updo are unbeatable. Hair and makeup was done by my amazingly talented friend, Caitlyn Enslen, otherwise known as Hair and Makeup by Cait! The bouquet was put together by Huntsville’s finest: Erica at Noella’s Flowers featuring butterfly ranunculus from the Flowering Ranch!
