The Summer They Got Married: The hydrangeas at Travis and Elizabeth’s wedding at the Huntsville Botanical Garden were constantly reminding me of the promotion picture for The Summer I Turned Pretty! It was a hot July day with the typical moody, summer weather. We dodged rain and thunderstorms all day, but these two didn’t care as long as they were married! I’ve probably said it before, but the Huntsville Botanical Garden is a good place to be if you have a rainy wedding day! Travis and Elizabeth were still able to have their ceremony outside in the beautiful celebration garden. They quickly said their vows as a thunderstorm rolled in, and we got everyone tucked in under the porch for cocktail hour before the bottom fell out!

As I said before, the rain didn’t have anything on the Crow wedding day. My favorite part of the day was listening to the rain as Travis and Elizabeth said their vows privately after their first look. When it was time for Travis to read his vows, he ended up closing his notes and just spoke from the heart. While I couldn’t exactly hear what was being said due to the loud rain shower, I knew it was gonna be one of the most special parts of the day just from the expressions on their faces.

We ended the day with an amazing celebration for the newlyweds including a mariachi band and live music from Blackberry Breeze. From the heartfelt vows to the last song of the night, every part of this day was magic! It was an amazing way to start their forever!
