We have been waiting for this day for a long time. My cousin (more like sister) is finally engaged to the love of her life! I think it’s safe to say they have been head over heels for each other since the day they started dating. I can vouch for anyone who knows Conner or Morgan and say we knew this would be a forever thing! So now for the proposal story…

This was definitely Conner’s best kept secret. He will tell you himself he is not the best secret keeper. When he contacted me about planning the proposal, we both knew it would have to be soon or we would end up giving it away. He knew where he wanted to propose (at a family friend’s beautiful pond), but we weren’t sure how to get Morgan there without making her super suspicious. On top of that, I needed to be around to photograph it, and there wasn’t exactly a good spot for me to hide.

Luckily, Conner came up with a pretty good plan. About a month ago, Morgan and Conner adopted a sweet black lab named Luke. Jordan (Conner’s cousin) and Chandler (her boyfriend) adopted Luke’s brother. I had been talking about having a photo shoot with the dogs since the day they brought them home, so Conner thought that session would also be a good time to propose. So, we picked a date Jordan and Chandler would be home from Auburn and went from there. We told Morgan she had no choice because I had really been wanting to take some pictures of the dogs.

Thankfully, she went with it. Now we have a very happy couple and some relieved people that no longer have to keep a secret! So, congratulations to Morgan and Conner! I can’t wait to celebrate the both of you in a few months (and help with wedding planning).
