This blog post is definitely the highlight of my Thursday, and this session was the highlight of my week! Taylor and Nick deserved this beautiful spring day after all of the rescheduling due to uncontrollable weather. I love natural light photography, but sometimes the weather can really put a damper on things and change plans quick. Thankfully, the rescheduling was all worth it because we replaced the dull winter photos we would have had with beautiful spring blooms!
Taylor and Nick are such genuine and sweet people. There are however a couple of things that I learned about them at their session that really stood out to me. For starters, Nick is ALL about the details, which I adore. Taylor explained to me that Nick picked out the ring with no help from her besides a small hint for a princess cut diamond, and he completely outdid himself (keep scrolling to see what I’m talking about). Taylor is such a joyful person and it spreads to everyone who is around her! I don’t remember a second during the session where she wasn’t smiling or laughing. Her sweet mother recently passed away, and while editing their pictures I couldn’t help but notice how Taylor’s smile reminded me of the joy her mother always carried. I know that she will always have that smile around and make her mother so proud!
Taylor and Nick fit perfectly together, and I am so thankful they allowed me to take their engagement pictures. I can’t wait for our second session with their sweet puppies this summer!
Nick’s ring taste is obviously way better than mine.
